tripping daisy - jesus hits like an atom bomb
mad guitar punk-pop. this albums hits the listener, grabs them by the neck and doesn't let go for an hour. the instrumentation is challenging but the foundations are mainly guitar based - just expect shards of trumpet blasting when you least expect it, along with rhythm changes mid-song.
guess this makes its sound unlistenable. well you're wrong ! this is an amazing album. the songs are very hummable - especially diamonds like 'sonic boom' which is pure summer pop song. but be warned - you need to listen to this a couple of times .. then you'll be hooked. hopefully.
