3 colours red - pure,revolt
met by a lot of
negativity these lps are top quality power punk pop.
for sheer visceral thrills head for the bands debut, pure, for 6
tracks the pqace doesn't let up - each track hits the right spot.
i cannot tell you how much the opening 6 tracks gets the
adrenalin flowing (pure, this is my hollywood, nerve gas, copper
girl etc etc ). admittedly they couldn't create an all time
classic but this should have supersceded all green day sales.
second release went a bit more experimental and even oncluded a
radio pop crossover track (beautiful day) - the lp is not as
immediate as the debut but still shows off a bands great talent
for wrapping up good pop song s with a ton of noise. put on
paranoid people loud and tryand deny the splendour .
love'em - and there are rumours of a reformation !
