bim sherman : miracle
this release is almost legendary for on-u fans. the prospect of string quartet backing with adrian sherwood productions was rumoured for years before the release saw the light of day (mantra picked up the tab for this). while many think that this is a highlight i personally get a bit bored . the tempo is far too similar all the way and i just wish there was more of a reggae feel to the lp, its mainly acoustic guitar with strings .. subtle drums and bass and bims velvet voice. best listen before buying, but others melt when this release is mentioned - just not me
