annie - the mini interview
small lady, large album, takes out 3.2 minutes to answer some questions i sent through.
amazingly i got response to a couple of questions. so, here you go. enjoy.
- can you remain as keen and excited for the album over the next high profile 12 months as the rest of the world catches up with you?
Well I must admit that I’m a bit tired of tracks like 'Greatest Hit' – that’s about 5 years old now. But at the same time it’s really exciting to see that everyone is really excited about the album, and it’s making me feel inspired to do more!
- which pop idols did you have posters of on your wall when you were growing up?
Hmmm….I had a lot of posters on the wall. Madonna, New Kids on the Block, and of course Johnny Depp.
- do you get asked for your autograph yet outside of Scandinavia?
Ha ha, yes actually, I’ve signed 3 autographs today and I’m in the UK. I went to a pub yesterday and had to sign 2 autographs there, really funny….
- do you have any new material ready to go, and if so, how will the new stuff differ from ‘anniemal’?
I’m really inspired these days. I’ve started to write some new songs. I have about 3 or 4 that are almost written. But I have no time to go the studio these days, too busy!
- will you be touring the album with a live band/backing tapes at all, or, is promotion all via dj slots ?
I’ve been practising with a band for a while now and it’s starting to work out. And I’m also gonna keep on dj-ing. It’s all very exciting.
