pigface - a new high in low
recently picked up this double release, one - it was cheap, two - the extra disc was described as ambient-dub. well what a con. the first disc is pretty impressive industrial. more experimental than usual 90's industrial, more variety in soundscapes and is a real grower ie not just techno-metal riffs with samples, some very nice female vocals over good instrumentation. whereas the second disc has genesis .p ranting on and on and on and on about english bloody breakfasts or something over a very dull music backdrop for over 70 minutes. so to summarise - disc one - very good, disc two - b*llocks. if see cheap buy for the first cd- but don’t expect an orb-like treat with the second.
