gosh. can't believe i've slept on this. thankfully a nudge by the label honcho, whiskas (from the excellent ¡førward russia!), made me dig the record out, and boy, am i glad.
2 tracks of simple and honest indie pop that will make fans of the arctic monkeys throw out accusations of "fakers!". but fuck'em. the hooks are sharp, the choruses are perfect for radio, and the duelled up guitars of 'i'm not sorry' hark back to the glorious marquee moon by television. while the more urgent flip side gives buzz pop thrills like the buzzcocks used to excel at.
basically, i totally love this, and i suspect if the record is dropped into the radio schedules you too will succumb, dont resist.
