sparoworlds
people rush out and check the 's' section of your local record shops, if you see this mixtape then grab it. simple as that.
sparo, having released tracks on scenario records, remixed yes (!!), the nextmen and shawn lee amongst others, has crafted a blend of 40 tracks including well known classics, exclusive sparo cuts, and a lot of samples from movies/adverts etc. that would never get clearance on an official release.
yes, there is life after dj yoda.
the mix is anything but a bland seamless set of tracks that have little in the way of entertainment, instead this cd makes you move, smile and groove. hip hop is the foundation of the music, but there are chunks of funk-n-soul, reggae and even dancehall to keep the boredom factor well at bay.
oh, and to seal the collector aspect - the packaging/cover are wonderfully 80's.
you have been warned, you will wish you had picked this up when you read the reviews of his forthcoming album, i have at last found the soundtrack to spring 2006.
