take modern studio production, add funky stone roses basslines, light guitar licks and simple easy melodies and your not far off what this lot provide. yes many compared this release to stone roses. a well derserved comparison, and one that i completely approve of !
this is a wonderful summer guitar pop album with some funky pro-tools trickery. there are some standout tracks, especially 'paint the silence', but the release is one coherent whole. not a typical mo'wax release and could have suffered because of that .. but for anyone who likes guitars and beats then you can do no wrong getting this and letting it permeate through your living room walls.
