hanging out in a local record shop, i over heard a conversation that went sommat like this :
'yeah man your album is fine, we be spinning it lots'.
so i take the man to one side and enquire. without checking my credentials i find a cd-r being dropped into my palm. 'sh*t', i think, 'this could be madforit bangin' techno or stuff that i really hate'.
so an hour later i slide the cd in and let it go.

dj wrox made this mix to showcase his vibe and get some work locally in the right places. i hope it pays off, as his track selection here is full of well known sturdy classics of the highest standards, rjd2, dj format, blackalicious, aspects, dj krush and ugly duckling give an insight into the groove that rocks wrox. soz. the mix flows through the classics in a smooth fashion towards a section involving my fave genre of cut-n-paste that shows the skills that wrox brings to the table are definitely the currently in demand styles like yoda/format etc. so to summarise - an excellently put together mix with a funky track selection.
book the man, get him out and about and spinning the grooves. then, when he gets the profile he deserves you can all pretend you knew of him all along.
