ascoltare vs keith
one of the strangest things i have have ever received in my esteemed position of getting new music to check out comes this.
described as a b*stard twin brother release to the new twisted electronica album by ascoltare, this is a small exclusively packaged 3" cd-r with 2 tracks with such names as '2cb' and '2ci'. to put the music to words aint easy .. but basically this is messed up twisted thin electro clicks and sharp processed beats, which is then matched against the wordplay of the afore mentioned keith, as in old school hero kool keith. who else could it be?
once keith hits the groove he is spouting wonderful stream of consciousness vibes which are both entertaining, surreal and completely in line with the funked up grooves, taking the sounds into completely new territory.
definitely one for fans of anticon, warp and underground leftfield rap.
good luck finding this, but i assure you it will be worth the effort.
