once again i strike it lucky.
i read about this limited release one day and spot it misfiled in the racks the following day. this is a rip from a 2 hour radio show that the lads put together to promote their unthugged album.
as ever with yoda's releases this is all about fun samples, looped beats, cut-n-paste madness, voiceovers and everything else including the kitchen sink to induce a rare hip-hop smile to the listeners face.
there is also the added bonus of some fine hip-hop tracks chucked in the mix, some underground, a lot of well heard classics and some bootlegging strap-ons. session highlight of which has to be the q-tip set against a michael jackson classic that works so well that you wonder of q-tip actually used the beat as a basis for his original track. no track details due to various licencing issues making this a promotional item only (though a net search will provide more details i suspect), so if this is in the racks , grab it and file next to your unkle/dj shadow mixtapes.
