class aa - beyond entertainment
excellent compilation featuring a whole range of sounds, from the belle and sebastian styled 'sam a& me', through to the full on post punked up moves of the longcut with a stunning live version of transition, with even the nine black alps proving just why they are being heralded as a great band by so many with their superb 'over the ocean'. this varied but solid set proves that currently manchester is anything but a city resting on its laurels and rehashing their past glories.
